本アプリでは、Googleアカウント、またはApple Account（Appleでサインイン、iOS版のみ）でログインした場合にかぎり、読書位置・本棚・表示設定をクラウドに保存します。ここでは、その保存済みデータの削除方法を説明します。

1. アプリから削除する

Appleでサインインをお使いの場合は、あわせて Apple 側の本アプリとの連携も解除します。

なお、ログアウトだけでは同期が止まるのみで、クラウド上のデータは削除されません。

2. メールで削除を依頼する

アプリを削除済みの場合など、アプリから操作できないときは、下記のメールアドレスへログインに使用しているアカウントのメールアドレスを添えて削除をご依頼ください。件名は「アカウント削除希望」などで構いません。

ご本人確認のため、依頼元のメールアドレスと、ログインに使用しているアカウントが一致していることを確認します。Appleでサインインで「メールを非公開」を選んだ場合は、アプリから削除してください。ご依頼を確認してから30日以内に削除します。

削除後は、同じアカウントで再度ログインしても、以前の同期データは復元されません。

Deleting your account and synced data

Aozora Bunko Reader stores your reading position, bookshelves, and display settings in the cloud only if you sign in with a Google account or with your Apple Account (Sign in with Apple, iOS only). This page explains how to have that stored data deleted.

1. Delete from the App

Open the App while signed in and go to the Settings tab.
Tap Delete account, then confirm.
You will be asked to confirm with the account you sign in with (Google or Apple). Your account and cloud data are then deleted immediately.

If you use Sign in with Apple, the App’s link to your Apple Account is also revoked.

Signing out alone only stops syncing; it does not delete the data stored in the cloud.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can no longer use the App (for example, after uninstalling it), email the address below, including the address of the account you sign in with.

To verify your identity, we check that the address you write from matches the account used for sign-in. If you chose Hide My Email with Sign in with Apple, please delete from the App instead. Data is deleted within 30 days of the confirmed request.

The identifier, display name, and email address of the account (Google or Apple) used for authentication
Reading positions and reading state stored in the cloud
Bookshelf structure stored in the cloud
Display settings stored in the cloud

Once deleted, signing in again with the same account will not restore the previous data.

4. What is not deleted

On-device data: book text files saved for offline reading, and reading data held only on the device, are not covered. Uninstalling the App removes them from the device.
Your Google account or Apple Account: the App never deletes these accounts themselves.
Purchase history: purchases of the ad-free plan are managed by Google Play or the App Store and cannot be deleted by the App. Cancel subscriptions from Subscriptions in the Google Play Store (Android) or from Settings > your name > Subscriptions (iOS).
